A blockchain infrastructure provider ran ~10 Kubernetes clusters across AWS, GCP and bare metal, with infrastructure defined in an aging Terragrunt setup that had grown difficult to maintain.
Infrastructure changes were slow and risky, and CI capacity couldn't keep up with a growing engineering team.
Replaced Terragrunt with 100+ composable Terraform modules, standardizing how every environment is defined and provisioned.
Designed autoscaling Buildkite runners on GCP, provisioned entirely through infrastructure as code, so build capacity scales with demand.
Infrastructure as code became consistent and maintainable across clouds, and a team of 12 engineers got CI that scales automatically with load.
